Musical career

Being without doubt one of the Seventies' most versatile and creative singer/songwriters, Albert Hammond has remained successful in the music business until now. His songs, older and more recent ones, are played and recorded all over the world - you may just not know it.

Albert Hammond, the singer...

...is probably best-known for It Never Rains In Southern California, The Free Electric Band, I'm A Train and Down By The River, which all entered the worldwide charts. Speaking Spanish fluently, he's also had many hits in the Latin part of the world, among them Echame A Mi La Culpa, Eres Toda Una Mujer, Si Me Amaras and Espinita. There have been no new original albums for a long time - but now he released Revolution Of The Heart.

Albert Hammond, the producer...

...worked behind the scenes for Julio Iglesias, Lani Hall (on her Grammy winning LP, "Es facil amar", which contains several Hammond tunes), and José Luis Rodriguez, among others. Of course, he produced all of his own recordings himself, too.
